스트레이 키즈(Stray Kids)가 11월 10일 새 미니 앨범 '樂-STAR'(락스타)를 발매한다.
스트레이 키즈는 2022년 'ODDINARY'(오디너리)와 'MAXIDENT'(맥시던트), 2023년 6월 정규 앨범 '★★★★★ (5-STAR)'(파이브스타)까지 미국 '빌보드 200' 3연속 1위에 등극하며 'K팝 4세대 선두주자'로서 기세를 떨쳤다. 정규 3집 발매 이후 약 5개월 만인 11월 10일 미니 앨범 '樂-STAR'를 발표하고 2023년 다시 한번 전 세계 음악 시장에 신선한 자극을 전한다. 특히 직접 만든 유니크한 매력의 음악으로 글로벌 K팝 리스너를 '슼며들게 한' 이들의 새 웰메이드 앨범에 기대가 쏠린다.
스트레이 키즈는 지난해 9월 'Stray Kids 2nd World Tour "MANIAC" Seoul Special (UNVEIL 11)'(스트레이 키즈 두 번째 월드투어 "매니악" 서울 스페셜 (언베일 11))로 KSPO DOME에 입성했다. 올해 10월에는 국내 최대 실내 공연장으로 손꼽히는 고척돔에서 단독 콘서트를 개최하고 눈부신 성장세를 자랑한다.
서울에서 전개되는 단독 콘서트명은 'Stray Kids '5-STAR Dome Tour 2023 Seoul Special (UNVEIL 13)''(파이브스타 돔 투어 2023 서울 스페셜 (언베일 13)). 앞서 스트레이 키즈는 음악적 자부심을 엿볼 수 있는 시그니처 티징 콘텐츠 'UNVEIL : TRACK'(언베일 : 트랙), 데뷔 첫 해외 쇼케이스 투어 'UNVEIL TOUR 'I am...'(언베일 투어 '아이 엠...')' 등을 선보인 바 이번 공연에서 어떤 요소들이 베일을 벗을지 궁금증을 높인다. 해당 공연은 지난 20일 일반 예매 티켓 오픈 후 초고속 솔드아웃을 기록하며 막강 인기를 실감케 했다.
최근 스트레이 키즈는 글로벌 K팝 대세 행보를 달리고 있다. 'K팝 4세대 보이그룹 최초' 일본 4대 돔 공연장 입성을 기록한 돔 투어는 사전 응모만 약 250만 건을 넘어섰고 초고속 전석 매진을 달성했다. 후쿠오카 페이페이 돔, 반테린 돔 나고야, 교세라 돔 오사카 공연을 성료했고 10월 28일~29일 도쿄 돔에서 화려한 피날레를 완성한다.
